The Taj Mahal's history begins in the middle of the XVII century, when the mughal emperor Shan Jahan ordered its construction to honor the memory of his third wife, Aryumand Banu Begam.

The Mughal Empire it's considered to be one of the greatest of history regarding continuous land extension:  it stretched from the western border of Germany to the Korean Peninsula, from the Arctic Ocean to Turkey and the Persian Gulf, dominating about a third of the planet's total population at the time.

It began in 1206, when a warrior named Temujin was proclaimed Genghis Khan, the supreme sovereign of Mongolia. Using strategies of war and politics, the leader was responsible for the unification of the numerous nomadic tribes that inhabited the region and resembled customs and language.

How did WWI affect the worldview of Americans and increase the popularity of athletes? Why was Charles Lindbergh a hero for many
Levart [38]
World War I affected the worldview of many Americans in a negative manner, showing that America helped out tremendously in the last year of the war. But as a result of the creation of the League of Nations and Wilson's push towards United States involvement in world affairs, many felt that we as a country wanted to focus more on domestic issues and thus the United States was never involved in the League as the Senate failed to ratify the treaty. Athletes became popular during this time period as the media and people glorified them to an extent with the example of Babe Ruth especially, along with people like Charles Lindbergh becoming a American legend after flying solo nonstop from New York to Paris with his own aircraft "Spirit of St Louis". The media put them on a pedestal as a result.

What part did the slave trade play in helping Europe take control of Africa in the 1800’s
exis [7]

With the salve trade, the Europeans made some of the stronger African tribes along the coast heavily dependent on them. That was largely due to the profit and weapons that these tribes were getting from selling slaves to the Europeans.

The slave trade and the slavery though got abolished, thus the profit and weapons that the Africans were getting stopped. That resulted in the weakening, and after several incidents with the Europeans, the Europeans attacked them one by one and managed to conquer and colonize them easily.
