Alika [10]

Answer:

The answer is true.

Explanation:

The U.S Supreme Court interpreted the first ten amendments of the Constitution to protect the rights of citizens from state governments through a process called incorporation doctrine.

It protected the citizens from the actions of the states by making the Bills of Rights applicable to every citizen through the Due Process clause without any state jurisprudence and interference.

The rights contained in the first ten amendments of the Constitution were made indispensable and constitutionally incorporated into state legislatures and court of every state by 20th century.

Why do you think Edgar Atheling should be king
Stolb23 [73]
He and his father had a strong claim to the throne. Edgar's father died in suspicious circumstances in 1054. Despite having the closest blood relation to Edward the Confessor he was too young. Although he did have the support of some nobles he needed more to become king.

Edgar Atheling was Edward the confessors nephew and that means he's a blood relative that also helped his claim to the throne.

How did the rise of McCarthyism change the US in the 1950s
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

What I believe is that McCarthyism had a good idea at first which was to remove communism from the U.S, however, McCarthy took it too far. Their team began ruthlessly removing accusing people of communists even though some weren't and they would drive a lot of people out of business due to false claims that the team received or that people made. So during this time, people could be accused of communism and could have property loss, be fined, filed, or even imprisoned all without requiring evidence. McCarthy would allow damages done and some violence as well.
