≤ the graph would be going to your left

Both cases assume x is on the left side of the inequality.

If the circle is open < or > will be used.

If the circle is shaded in then use ≤ or ≥

If the circle is open, then x<2 would indicate that the ray is going left (which it is) and 2 is not included.

Answer: x < 2
