The revolution ended the autocratic Tsar rule. It abolished the Romanov Dynasty. The social and economic problems and continuing involvement in the war led to growing unrest among people and support towards Lenin. Food shortages and rationing were common in cities, and Bolsheviks promises of peace, bread, and land captured the public attention. The strikes in Petrograd forced  Nicholas to lose support and weakening power that led to his abdication.

Got rid of the surplus in crops in line with demand.

The government paid farmers to get rid of surplus crops. By doing this prices were set to be affordable for sale and also provide money for farmers to pay their debts.
