Oliver has to face hardships of life at a young age.He had to work at a factory and starve as he is not given enough food.He runs away from there and meets Nancy.She knows about Oliver's stepbrother Monk.But Monks does not want to accept Oliver as his brother because he does not want to share his property.Monk attacks Oliver but Oliver is saved.Later it is shown that Oliver loves with a kind gentleman in a village, far away from the world of lies

The second person should never be used in a narrative essay. That would be informal and incorrect.  You can also identify when it is taking place in some cases............. I think that the speaker is saying that even though death is unavoidable in the end then we should not just merely accept it and try our hardest to make our lives meaningful while we are alive. She infers that she has too much that she has yet to do in her life and that she doesn’t have enough time to stop for anything, even something a powerful as death.
