Why was the bubonic plague of the Middle Ages called the Black Death? The disease caused much sadness. Every time a person died,

dark clouds loomed on the horizon. The skin of its victims turned black. The disease was only carried by fleas on black rats.

WHAT POLITICAL ROLE DID THE WOMEN PLAY IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF SOUTH AFRICA FORM THE 1970s TO THE 1990S essay.
melomori [17]

Answer:

Urban women played a significant role in the struggle against Apartheid by entering into the labour force and taking jobs as both domestic workers and factory workers.

These jobs helped women to make the connections necessary to form support for trade unions and ultimately anti-apartheid political organisations.

What could they add to their argument against slavery that would make their argument stronger or more convincing?
nydimaria [60]

Answer:

If I were to add something that would make my argument against slavery more convincing I would probably say something like what is the roles were switched, would you want to be a slave?

When people went to Africa or when they bought slaves they would often say something like it was in the bible and because of this that it was okay when this was not true so you could possibly use that to help your argument against it. There are probably better answers out there but I wrote a argument against slavery once and I used this stuff in and got a pretty good grade.
