Answer:  The correct answer is : In April 1989 thousands of students marched to Tiananmen Square asking for a more democratic government, more open and with more opportunities for people, lower levels of inflation and the elimination of corruption. Days later, thousands more people join to express their disagreement with China's rulers. More than 100 students began a hunger strike in the square, in a few days they become thousands of people. China does not allow live US news, photographs or video recordings in demonstrations were also banned. In June, Chinese troops arrive at the square, firing at students and civilians, thus ending the demonstrations.
