Complementary angles are 2 angles who add up to 90 degrees. Every one of the angles adds up to 90 degrees, so the assignment is asking you to find the missing number that makes the angles add up to 90.

Example: The first angle on your pager shows 45 and and a question mark. Ask yourself, what number + 45 = 90? The answer is 45. So, take the number of each angle they give you, and subtract it from 90. ( 90 - 45 ) and you have solved what the missing number ( ? ) is. Hope I helped!

Subtract the degrees shown by 90 since it is a right angle, which mean sit is at 90 degrees. so like for the 1st one, subtract 45 from 90. any questions?

A bus on a regular schedule takes 3 1/4 hours to reach its destination. The express bus takes 2 1/2 hours to make the same trip.
RSB [31]
Time taken by a regular bus to reach its destination = 3 1/4 hours
                                                                                   = 13/4 hours
Time taken by the express bus to make the same trip = 2 1/2 hours
                                                                                       = 5/2 hours
Time that can be saved by taking the express bus = (13/4) - (5/2) hours
                                                                                 = (13 - 10)/4 hours
                                                                                 = 3/4 hours
So 3/4 hours can be saved by taking the express bus rather than the regular bus. The correct option among all the options given in the question is option "C". I hope the procedure is simple enough for you to understand.
