Answer:

Hey! I also play the alto sax. Some pointers I wish I would've had when I was starting out are:

-to try to only breathe at the end of phrases (usually four bars, or eight as your director instructs.) or where there are breath marks

-also, learn how to "tongue" phrases. You can practice by verbally "tss-ing"

-don't forget to play in key! If the key switches on you, (depressing, I know) you've got to switch with it.

-for this piece, you may want to set a metronome if you have one, (or maybe a friend who can keep a beat)

-it really depends on what you're struggling on in particular.

It always helps to learn the scales. And find some music online or some books that you like. Maybe songs you actually know. The more fun it is, the more you actually want to practice! And it being fun will definitely help.

Masteriza [31]
The answer that best completes the statement above is this: "the immediacy of Christ's body and the fact that he is no longer alive." The painting Dead Christ was actually painted by the artist Andrea Mantegna. This is also known as Lamentation of Christ. Basically, it is painting of Jesus Christ lying on a marble slab and beside him who are weeping are St. John and Virgin Mary, His mother.

Are the following correct? (music!)
VladimirAG [237]

First one: It would be on Sol

Second one: No. It would be on La. The note is B. And is a Bflat

(I don't know Bass Clef as well. I play Alto Sax, which uses Treble Clef. So please forgive me)

Third one: It would be A flat

Fourth one: It would be C then C flat

(Again, I don't know Bass Clef that well, so don't count on my answers)
