Slavery was work, often very hard work, sustained by force and the threat of humiliation and separation from family and community. Most commonly,Slave labor differed according to period and location.<span> it was routinized and mind-numbing, a repetition of the same tasks or movements, changed only by the season of the year or time of day. This image gave rise to the expression “factories in the field,” evoking an early industrial model where workers were no more than cogs in a machine.

Hope this helps. :)

Describe one way in which hideyoshi goals were similar to those of Louis XIV ?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

Answer:

Both were absolutist governors with total control of their countries

Explanation:

Now let's see each case.

Toyotomi Hideyoshi was responsible to unify Japan in the 16th century. He put an end to the power of the feudal lords and acquired the political and military position becoming the main governor of Japan. To maintain power, Hideyoshi used the force and the threat, persecuting his enemies.

Louis XIV name himself as The King Sun, and just like Hideyoshi, Louis XIV cumulated the political and social power, but in the case of him, the maintaining of the status quo was based on religion. This means that, according to Louis XIV, his power and influence came from God.
