some characteristics that describes Jonas from when he first started the giver on his first day is pensive and robust.

overall Jonas is a really good kid always worried about his family and friends he also believes in getting closer to people nothing changed really when he got his powers he was still passionate very thoughtful and he was aware of his strong emotions, and great suffering.  and he still deeply cares for his family and friends.

I remember reading the giver! I don’t remember much but I think On the first day he was kind shy or nervous around the giver, in the movie he seemed nervous around him. I’ll say give him a shy trait ? Over time though he got used to being around the giver! He wanted to learn and discover new things he didn’t know about
