Answer:

Guam and Wake Island  fell immediately after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Explanation:

The Battle of Guam was a landing operation by Japanese troops on the island of Guam, which was defended by United States units, during the Pacific War in World War II. The battle took place on December 8, 1941, a few hours after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and cost the Japanese troops only one dead and several wounded. The American troops lost 17 men and several ships, while the entire island crew of about 600 men were taken prisoner of war.

In turn, the Battle of Wake began one day after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 8, 1941, and ended on December 23 with the victory of the Japanese attackers. The defense of the island by a far inferior number of US Marine Corps soldiers is still considered an admirable gem in its military history in the United States.

Which statement about the Qur’an is true?
Olenka [21]
The answer is C.
I got this answer by the process of elimination. Not A - Because it is a holy book consisting of the words of God (or Allah) that were revealed to Muhammad in a cave. Not B- The Quran is known for being written in only one language--that's Arabic (translations may be done in different languages, but a Quran itself will always be in the Arabic language.) Not D - Muslims constantly follow the Quran because it is their holy book, much like a Christian with the Bible or a Jew with the Torah.
Hope this helped!
