The explorers had advantages with better and quicker methods of transportation, and over time, they had better weapons. This helped the explorers in battles against the Native Americans. It also helped the explorers move products and people faster. The explorers also greatly outnumbered the Native Americans.

This led to the formation of the Protestant Movement, which quickly escalated and the Church got divided, with the new Protestant Movement creating its own churches and teachings, while the Catholic Church lot of its followers, territory, and power. Unfortunately this also led to persecutions and lot of violence.
