In literature, the character motivation is the reason why a character decides to do a specific action or develop a specific behavior. This behavior is characterized by the character's own willingness to do something. There are two types of motivation: one is intrinsic (it comes from some of the character's internal reasons), while the other one is extrinsic (the character is motivated by an external reason).
