Answer:

On July 16, 1969, the Apollo 11 spacecraft launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Its mission was to go where no human being had gone before—the moon! The crew consisted of Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin. The spacecraft landed on the moon in the Sea of Tranquility, a basaltic flood plain, on July 20, 1969. The moonwalk took place the following day. On July 21, 1969, at precisely 10:56 EDT, Commander Neil Armstrong emerged from the Lunar Module and took his famous first step onto the moon’s surface. He declared, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” It was a monumental moment in human history!

How many paragraphs does the conclusion need to have
Dominik [7]
In an essay it should only be one I'm pretty sure, but in a narrative as many as it takes to explain a lesson learned. If you were writing a book your conclusion would be whatever comes to you and whatever you feel the characters would do/say/feel.

What does Shames mean when he says, “open space generated not just ambition, but metaphor” (para 12)?
Maru [420]

This is a line in Laurence Shames’ “The More Factor.” In this essay, Shames argues that Americans have always valued the idea of having “more”. He states that this was intrinsic to the development of the nation during the years of the Wild West. People wanted more land, more riches, and were prepared to sacrifice everything in order to obtain it. He also argues that this desire for “more” has meant that Americans have forgotten about other values, concentrating on quantity instead of quality.

Shames also argues that the idea of “open space,” of unlimited land that could be grabbed, generated ambition, but it also generated a metaphor. That is, a metaphor of unlimited potential and growth. This metaphor is still associated with the idea of “conquering frontiers.” However, he argues that as hopes of growth are now put on the economy, we have to realize that growth is finite, and that we need to reexamine our values and future goals for the country.

Which part of a book usually states the central idea and previews the smaller ideas book will cover?
DerKrebs [107]

Introduction.

A book's introduction is closely related to the content of the book itself. Usually found in nonfiction work, the introduction may summarize the main argument presented in the rest of the book, define any important terms, or fill in background details.

Topic: How to achieve your dreams
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Allowing and Trust, The Best Way to Achieve Your Dreams.

"Dream big!" is a common phrase we hear from teachers and parents. But the key question is "How?"

Is there a method or a five steps course to make my dreams come true?

Well, maybe not. Every individual's road is different. But what we can do is to really know ourselves much better to identify what we really dream and want to be manifested that sincerely can help us in our road of life.

Not what parents and family want you to become or what your husband or wife needs.

No. You must know yourself from the inside through introspection.

And then. Understand this. People do not create through force. It doesn't work. It only produces fatigue, headaches, and frustration.

You make your dreams come through by allowing it. By understanding that the better you are, the most wonderful things come to life.

In conclusion, you only can create and manifest from the same level of your thoughts and beliefs. If you think you can't, you are right. If you think you can, do the best possible and let the right things to come in the exact moment with no predisposition, then you will find with time that everything you need comes to your reality.

Not before, not after. Simply in due time.
