Answer: c < -3

Step-by-step explanation: To solve for <em>c</em> in this inequality, your goal is the same as it would be you were solving an equation, to get <em>c</em> by itself on one side of the inequality.

Since 2 is being added to <em>c</em>, subtract

2 from both sides of the inequality.

On the left, the +2 and -2 cancel out
