<u><em>2.)</em></u> So, to actually apply for statehood, the Californians first had to write and then approve their constitution. After it has been approved, the people had to elect a governor and also state legislators. California was officially admitted as a state in September 1850.

<em><u>3.)</u></em> California wouldn't be diverse at all. It wont be unique as it it right now. there would be no other people from other countries that actually want to go there. Also, if it would not have actually very quickly.
