During the Roman Empire, the lives of Romans were great, well to most of the other empires. The Romans developed much quicker than any other empire. The Roman soldiers had to be relentless, due to their harsh punishments. Their discipline and expansions brought them to the top. The Roman Empire even had their own games, their own inventions, but they had to be controlled and supervised by Roman soldiers. If a Roman soldier did one slip up, they would be severely punished, so they did not take their jobs lightly. I Hope This Helps. :)
