Water that falls on the ground through the hydrological cycle is absorbed and filtered through the pores of the soil and adds to the formation of groundwater. Once infiltrate it leads to the groundwater recharge. The infiltration accounts for 22 to 25 % of the water.
The falling water from the clouds is 100% of which evaporation and transpiration account for 64%, soil moisture 16% and 20-25% of the groundwater.
