Which drawing medium have artists commonly used to create studies for their larger artworks, pencil chalk or oil

Answer:

Pencils

Explanation:

Artists use pencil to make sketches and create studies. They then use these sketches and studies to create their final larger piece. They use pencil because it's quick, can be corrected, lightweight and easy to use. Before pencils artists would make charcoal drawings but once we had pencils it made sense to use them as they aren't messy like charcoal.

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please feel free to post them and someone will be able to help you, whether it's myself or others. Please leave a like, rating, and if possible, Brainliest. Have a great day!

The heritability score for athletic ability estimates the:relative contributions of genetic and environmental factors in the dev
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

amount of variation in athletic ability in an entire population that is due to differences in their genes.

Explanation:

Heritability score is a number that indicates the proportion of a trait that is genetic. Inheritance is the ratio of genetic variation to the total variation of a given attribute in a population. Variation of a trait in the population is referred to as phenotypic variation, while genetic variation in a population is referred to as genotypic variation. Thus, heritability is a ratio of genotypic variation to phenotypic variation. Based on this, we can state that the heritability score for athletic ability estimates the amount of variation in athletic ability in an entire population due to differences in their genes.

(ART) can someone write me an artist statement
xxTIMURxx [149]

Andy Yoder, sculptor: “Many people take great comfort in the bathroom towels being the same color as the soap, toilet paper, and tiles. It means there is a connection between them, and an environment of order. Home is a place not only of comfort, but of control. This sense of order, in whatever form it takes, acts as a shield against the unpredictability and lurking chaos of the outside world.

My work is an examination of the different forms this shield takes, and the thinking that lies behind it. I use domestic objects as the common denominators of our personal environment. Altering them is a way of questioning the attitudes, fears and unwritten rules which have formed that environment and our behavior within it.”

Nancy McIntyre, silk screen artist: “I like it when a place has been around long enough that there is a kind of tension between the way it was originally designed to look and the way it looks now, as well as a tension between the way it looks to whoever is caring for it and the way it looks to me. Trouble is, the kinds of places I find most appealing keep getting closed or torn down.

What do I want to say with my art?

Celebrate the human, the marks people make on the world. Treasure the local, the small-scale, the eccentric, the ordinary: whatever is made out of caring. Respect what people have built for themselves. Find the beauty in some battered old porch or cluttered, human-scale storefront, while it still stands.”

Why was Marcel Duchamps Fountain significant at the time it was made?
elena55 [62]
It is a fixture that you see every day in plumbers' shop windows. Whether Mr Mutt with his own hands made the fountain has no importance. He CHOSE it. He took an ordinary article of life, placed it so that its useful significance disappeared under the new title and point of view – created a new thought for that object.
