I do this first because I feel that any audience member should feel a connection between them and the speaker whether or not they agree or disagree with the speaker. I soar from one area to another, looking down on the unfamiliar creatures below me. These creatures are so ordinary and bizarre! They remain on the ground, never once experiencing the exhilaration of a long flight.

As I watch the machine move away at a speed that even I can't maintain, I gasp in horror as it comes to life. They occasionally leave some of their food outside, and when it is abandoned I fly over and devour it because their meal is in no way similar to ours.
However, these critters and pests may be unfortunate in that they are unable to fly. They were unable to fly away from their problems.
