Earth's tides are caused by gravity from the Sun and Moon. If the moon was further away, it would be less effective to the tides. However, this doesn't mean that we won't have tides because they are still effected by gravity from the Sun.

There is wind because if the convection currents in the air!!!!! So land heats up faster and hot air rises and cool aur rushes in to take its place hope this helped
