Answer:

question 1:

While men had been sent to fight in World War II, women were needed to take up their industrial jobs as Riveters. It was a huge turning point for all women. These industrial jobs had given the women the opportunity to learn a new skill and make more money than they had ever before. Women had the freedom to spend or save earnings however they wanted. In the film, The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter, one of the Riveters had exclaimed she was making a week's worth of earnings with just a domestic job in one day with a industrial job. This made women feel way more independent.

Question 2:

If I could choose, I would choose to build ships because women don't get to build things and do men's jobs since the men don't think women have what it takes. So, I would have chosen to build ships so that all the men know that women can do what men also can. Women and men both indeed have different types of stiff they can and can't do but, women can build things, work jobs that men say only they can do, etc.

Which best describes the attitude of the British toward American colonists?
Bumek [7]
The answer is B. Although the colonists were the same British citizens as in Britain, they were treated very differently. Colonists were seen as poor, unsophisticated underlings that could not think for themselves. The British saw themselves as an older brother, someone who watches over the colonists to make sure they don’t make a mess of things.
