What did Lincoln Steffens write about?
pishuonlain [190]

D. The poor living conditions of the working class in industrial cities

Explanation:

Lincoln Steffens is remembered for his work on the corruption and the life of working class in industrial America which he compiled in his book called the Shame of the City.

It delved into the deep seated corruption and systemic exploitation which was rampant in the big industries of the country which were booming with profits but were designed to exploit the common man.

His study on the exploitation on the working class was instrumental in getting more worker rights for them.

How would the world be different if Barack
Obama was never President
Please help!
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

Lots of people would not have the care they need for illnesses and diseases. A Republican president would have appointed conservatives to the Supreme Court. Roe vs Wade would be overturned by now. Voting rights would have been taken out from minorities. A large amount of veterans would still be fighting in Iraq.

The keystone would be working. Clean air would be harder to be sure of because major corporations would have few watchdogs. No "equal rights or pay for Women" law would have been signed. Industrial accidents would be no big deal. Corporations would pay a big amount and that would probably be all.

Explanation:

Hope this helps!
