There were a variety of new nations formed after World War 1 following the dissolution of certain European states and the Ottoman Empire. New states included Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Turkey, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria, and also the Soviet Union was formed.
Chancellor Otto von Bismarck was savvy enough to know that the divided German states would rally together around a united cause if they fought in war together for a common cause. So Bismarck provoked a number of wars -- always making it look like he and Prussia were defending German national interests, not acting as the primary aggressors. He strategically sparked war with Denmark over territories that were more German than Danish and thus (Germans felt) should not be under Danish control. On the heels of that issue, he lured Austria into a war that enabled Prussia to establish itself as Austria's equal. Finally, he provoked the French into declaring war on Prussia. (Look up a little thing called the Ems Telegram if you want to know how that happened.) The end result was the defeat of France and the declaration of a German Empire (the Second Reich, as it became known.)
I honestly don’t even know lol
Answer:
Wartime necessity, women joined the workforce
Explanation:
Many countries at the time discouraged women from working because it was seen as a man's role. Once the war started however, many countries allowed women to join the workforce as riveters, etc. to build things like planes, ships, tanks, and ammunition. After the war, women realized they could work and support themselves like men did, and many stayed in the workforce.
Answer:
Silicon Valley
Explanation:
Silicon Valley is a lowland area in California where there's a very large concentration of high-tech corporations and computer programming businesses. The reason why this area has been chosen by these corporations and businesses is because the terrain is suitable for building, the area is very well connected, it located between several major cities, and the Pacific Ocean is right next to it so that the products can be sent abroad for sale. Pretty much all large corporations in the high-tech industry have their headquarters in this area.
