The Inca empire was one of the great empires of the Americas. It was located in South America, along the western coast and on the western slopes of the Andes. This empire was actually the largest empire in the Americas when the Europeans came, it was a solidly advanced one. The modern day countries that have regions which were once part of the Inca empire are Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina.
