Dear diary,

My day today was filled with beautiful things. In the forest near the village I saw my friends dancing and laughing as they worked the fields. At night, it was quieter, but still beautiful; I sat inside and listened to the rain pattering on the roof and a solitary singer chanting somewhere unseen. When I went to bed, before I started to dream, I thought about all I had experienced, and I thought about myself too. And I was content.
