Imagery and repetition are aspects of word choice. Imagery is the expression through words that makes the reader feel the visual, auditory, touch, taste or smelling sensation. Repetition is writing the same words repeatedly for laying more stress on an action or a situation.

Write two sentences about places you would like to visit. Include a compound subject in each sentence. Underline the subjects.
aleksklad [387]
Compound subjects are subjects joined by words like and.  A subject is a person, place, or thing.  A noun basically.

I would like to visit Rome and Athens, because it's very beautiful. Rome and Athens would be underlined.

It is my dream to visit the Arizona, more specifically, the Grand Canyon.

Arizona and Grand Canyon would be underlined .

The answer is the first three. The speaker has a unique imagination so the answer is going to be directed towards the speaker. The first, second, and third answer directly acknowledges how the author sees things differently than everyone else. The other or last two options say what everyone else can see and is therefor not contributing to his imagination.

How can somebody win the popular vote but lose the electoral vote?
Marizza181 [45]

Answer:

Yes it is possible

Explanation:

So you can win the popular vote as in the one we can all vote in. So most Americans in this case will like you. However the electoral is like the "elite and experienced politicians" who vote. They made this to prevent a dumb majority. You can argue whether this is a dumb thing because it could be. But it pretty much states that we do not trust what most Americans think. We only trust a few. These few can still be influenced by the majority though.
