How To Make A Necklace

Things Needed:

Long String (about 18 inches) (can be elastic or not)

Holed Beads

Locket

PROCEDURE:

1. Take a long piece of string, which may be elastic if you wish, and cut it to be about 18 inches. If it is about 18 inches, it will lie at the collarbone when you are done.

2. Take about 16 inch diameter holed beads (of whichever color desired), and slip in 8 of them on the string.

3. In order to slip in a bead, you must put the string through one end of the bead's hole and pull it out through the other. Do this about 8 times.

4. Do the same with the locket. If you do not have a holed locket, you can simply slip a ring through the string.

5. Slip in the other 8 beads using the same technique as provided in step 3.

6. Hold the string on either end tightly so as to not let the beads fall out.

7. Tie a knot connecting the two ends.

8. Your necklace is ready to wear.
