Answer:

Baldwin :

I went through a lengthy theological struggle during the summer when I turned fourteen. I use "faith" in the normal, and subjective, context, implying which I then uncovered Heaven, His apostles and fairies, and His burning Hell. And because I was birthed in a Christian country, I was the only one who embraced this god. I believed that he only resided inside the walls of a sanctuary, really, of our church, and I often assumed that Lord and protection were intertwined.

Hurston's :

From just a " insider " view, Hurston stated. Her usage of black slang can also establish a simplistic authenticity that oversees her protagonists' perceptions and motives by bordering on racial prejudice. Nevertheless, the audience will learn much about Hurston's own beliefs in this series — perhaps more than through their autobiographical compositions.

How does Mallam's Religion shape his character? How do these aspects of his character lead to conflict
Ipatiy [6.2K]
Because he was an extremely religious person and found peace and salvation in faith because he was blind, he was a very nice and good person. People generally used to take advantage of him, because he was so nice, yet he did nothing to confront them. Only when he got married did his wife stand up for her husband and did the community start respecting him.
