Answer:

Killer Whales, A male killer whale’s lifespan is usually around 30 years but he can, in fact, live up to about 50-60 years; a female usually lives till 50 but, in some cases, lives up to 90 years of age. Female killer whales mature faster than the males. Killer Whale's daily behaviors consists of  breaching (jumping), travelling, tail slapping and socializing. Social Behavior; The social structure of the killer whale is quite complex and stable. They live with their mothers for their entire lives.

Killer Whales have many prey, for which they are very big so they can hunt basically anything. Some feed exclusively on fish, while others hunt marine mammals such as seals and other species of dolphin. They have been known to attack baleen whale calves, and even adult whales.

But for habitat, depending on the ecotype, killer whales may exploit a variety of habitats, from shallow coastal areas to deep waters off the continental shelf. Killer whales are found in the open ocean, but they seem to be most abundant in coastal waters. In ocean ecosystem killer whale have a big part they use the environment as part of hunting techniques. In Antarctica a whale may push up on to an ice floe and slide over it to catch a penguin. They are also known to bump into ice floes and knock prey off into the water. statuscvo [17]
Short answer is that it is option D.the best chance that he would find anything is an iron tool for digging. It is because he would not leave farm animals to die, it cant be a packet of seeds either because you said it would be ancient. paper would have rotten and plastic was not available back then...a newspaper article would be very unlikely because they wouldn't read where they farmed....

What were the events surrounding the siege and surrender of vicksburg
Goryan [66]

Answer:

Look below

Explanation:

First off, Vicksburg was one of the Union Army’s most successful campaigns of the American Civil War. The Vicksburg campaign was also one of the longest. Although General Ulysses S. Grant’s first attempt to take the city failed in the winter of 1862-63, he renewed his efforts in the spring. Admiral David Porter (1813-91) had run his flotilla past the Vicksburg defenses in early May as Grant marched his army down the west bank of the river opposite Vicksburg, crossed back to Mississippi and drove toward Jackson. After defeating a Confederate force near Jackson, Grant turned back to Vicksburg. On May 16, he defeated a force under General John C. Pemberton (1814-81) at Champion Hill. Pemberton retreated back to Vicksburg, and Grant sealed the city by the end of May. In three weeks, Grant’s men marched 180 miles, won five battles and captured some 6,000 prisoners. Grant made some attacks after bottling Vicksburg but found the Confederates well entrenched. Preparing for a long siege, his army constructed 15 miles of trenches and enclosed Pemberton’s force of 29,000 men inside the perimeter. It was only a matter of time before Grant, with 70,000 troops, captured Vicksburg. Attempts to rescue Pemberton and his force failed from both the east and west, and conditions for both military personnel and civilians deteriorated rapidly. Many residents moved to tunnels dug from the hillsides to escape the constant bombardments. Pemberton surrendered on July 4, 1863, and President Abraham Lincoln (1809-65) wrote that the Mississippi River “again goes unvexed to the sea.” The town of Vicksburg would not celebrate the Fourth of July for 81 years.
