James Baldwin is widely regarded as one of the United States’ most important writers in the latter part of the twentieth century. Baldwin’s writing career spanned more than four decades and is remarkable for its wide diversity of literary expression, encompassing fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and plays. He was considered the most important American writer during the 1950’s, 1960’s, and 1970’s on the issue of racial inequality. Answer: Here comes the points! Also, don't copy/paste this answer. This is in my own words!

James Baldwin is widely regarded as one of the United States' most important writers in the late twentieth century. His career in writing lasted for almost five decades, and he was considered the most important American writer during the 1950s - 1970s on the issue of racial inequality. One of his works regarding racial inequality is his essay, "If Black English Isn't a Language, Then Tell Me What Is?" The main point of this essay is to explain the insecurity of blacks in America. While the title is long, it's the most repeated topic of his message. While both whites and blacks speak English, blacks aren't allowed to speak the language of whites. They are quickly blamed for doing bad things while they're acting just like us. This is what "Black English" is referred to in Baldwin's essay. From how I see it, blacks are mistreated, they are shut out for acting like us, and because of this, they're afraid to speak up.

PLEASE ANSWER ASAP FOR A CHANCE OF BRAINLIEST. This question is about the book The Odyssey.
hichkok12 [17]

Answer:

Penelope's choice of contest — one that only Odysseus could win — supports the suspicion that she is aware of the beggar/Odysseus's real identity. When the beggar/Odysseus asks for an unofficial chance at the bow, Penelope immediately counters Antinous' objection. Dismissing the idea that the guest would claim her as his bride, she responds that by giving the wandering stranger a shot she is simply being hospitable. Of course, the beggar would not claim her for his bride; Odysseus would not have to.
