Can i get 10 ways to help the environment/earth
romanna [79]

Answer:

1. Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cut down on what you throw away. 2. Follow the three "R's" to conserve natural resources and landfill space.

3. Volunteer. Volunteer for cleanups in your community. You can get involved in protecting your watershed, too.

4. Educate. When you further your own education, you can help others understand the importance and value of our natural resources.

5. Conserve water. The less water you use, the less runoff and wastewater that eventually end up in the ocean.

6. Buy less plastic and bring a reusable shopping bag.

7.Use long-lasting light bulbs. Energy efficient light bulbs reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Also flip the light switch off when you leave the room!

8. Plant a tree. Trees provide food and oxygen. They help save energy, clean the air, and help combat climate change.

9.Don't send chemicals into our waterways. Choose non-toxic chemicals in the home and office.

10.Bike more. Drive less.

Explain why the process of mitosis is important to you eukaryotic
organisms
vichka [17]

The eukaryotic organisms have the process of mitosis but differently than the process of the prokaryotic because the prokaryotic organisms dont have the dna enclosed in a nucleus. Mitosis needs to occur in eukaryotic organims because the cell could keep growing an it is going to be less efficient in moving material across the cell membrane. They reason why mitosis happens is because volume and surface are do not increase at the same rate.

 • In the mRNA; A will be complementary to U
 • In tRNA; U will be complementary to A

The mutation does not affect the structure of the protein and is called a silent mutation.

What is a mutation?

A mutation is a change that occurs in the sequence of nucleotides of a gene.

The mutation that changes the base G in the DNA to A will result in the following corresponding changes in the mRNA and tRNA:

 • In the mRNA; A will be complementary to U
 • In tRNA; U will be complementary to A

The mutation does not result in any changes since the amino acid coded for by the mRNA has more than one codon coding for it.

This type of mutation is called a silent mutation.

In conclusion, some mutations occurring in genes have no effect on the proteins the gene codes for.
