Answer:

Slope = 3x

Graph in picture

Step-by-step explanation:

First recalling slope intercept form (y=mx+b) you should remember that your 'm' is always going to be your slope.

Now, in this equation the 'm' would be 3x which is going to be the slope

Slope = 3x

To graph this- depending on your educator- you can either use a calculator (like desmos . com) or the other way.

If you can't use a calculator the best way to go around this is to find the x-int. since you already know y (6).

To find x intercept we will plug in 0 for y and then solve for x.

0=3x + 6

(add -6 on both sides)

-6 = 3x

(divide 3 on both sides)

-2 = x

then we would graph that (in the picture)

Hope this helps :)

What is the area of a rectangle with vertices at  (−4, 0) ,  (−3, 1)  , (0, −2) , and (−1, −3) ?
Sauron [17]

The Length of the Given Rectangle is \sqrt{18}

The Breadth of the Given Rectangle is \sqrt{2}

We know that Area of the Rectangle is Length × Breadth

⇒ Area of the Given Rectangle = \sqrt{18} × \sqrt{2} = \sqrt{36} = 6

⇒ Hence the Area of Given Rectangle is 6 units

What is the correct factorisation of?<br>X^2+6x+8
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that: x

2

+6x+8

                 =x

2

+4x+2x+8,        (split middle term)

                 =(x

2

+4x)+(2x+8),    (group pair of terms)

                 =x(x+4)+2(x+4),         (factor each binomials)

                 =(x+4)(x+2),              (factor out common factor (x+4)

Hence factors of x

2

+6x+8 are (x+4)(x+2)
