How does jem break the remaining code of childhood
lisov135 [29]
Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird relates that, upon seeing Dill under the bed, Jen “rose and broke the remaining code of our childhood” which i believe is the code of no “snitching” by telling Atticus. To Scout this makes Jem a “traitor” but this was an act of responsibility that was necessary for Jem’s maturation toward adulthood.
Hope this helped <3

In "Up in the Air," The Unknown does not give his real name, but two fake options: Erostratus and Empedocles. What do these name
Lunna [17]

Answer:

- He is willing to die for fame.

Explanation:

In the novel 'Up in the Air' penned by Walter Kirn, the author primarily discusses the tale of Ryan Bingham who is a career transition counselor. He fires people that keep him airborne and also counsels the laid-off and suggests him the way to re-enter their job.

As per the question, The Unknown does not provide his real name but rather provides two pseudo names: Erostratus and Empedocles which reflects that 'he was willing to die for fame.' These fake names reflect that he didn't care about his identity or self but rather concerned more about the 'fame' no matter if it comes from pretending oneself with pseudo names.
