The first Transcontinental Telegraph, established in 1861, connected the East telegraph network with the newly created one in California.

3- CUMBERLAND ROAD --- First one built with crushed rock
The Cumberland Road was the first major road in the United States built by the federal government. Carried out between 1811 and 1837, the 1,000-kilometer route connected the Potomac and the Ohio River.
4- AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION --- Mass development of labor-saving machines for farm work
The agricultural revolution describes a period of agricultural development in Britain from the eighteenth century to the mid-nineteenth century, during which there was a very high increase in agricultural productivity, yield and total production as a result of technological innovations and the development of new farming systems.
5- TRANSATLANTIC CABLE --- Joined England and U.S. by telegraph wire
The transatlantic cable reduced the communication time between the United States and England, allowing a message and an answer to arrive on the same day.
