I think that Victor Hugo is a very extraordinary person, with incredible talent that touched a lot of people. He influenced a lo

t of people with his work. It touched on subjects that at the time were controversial and not really talked about. He talked about freedom, social injustice, and freedom of the press. He also talked about the death penalty. His work sparked a lot of emotion in people and that is what made him great. I think the poem is very well written. I believe that Victor Hugo was trying to get the point across that children are the most precious beings and we should protect them at all costs. I also think he was saying that in all children there is God and because of this we should treat them as such. Maybe also he was try to say that every person is a child of God and that we should treat each other the same way we would treat a newborn. I think this poem shows that Victor Hugo has very deep thoughts about human life.
