El imperio Inca comprende (spans over) territorios de lo que actualmente (currently) son Ecuador, , Argentina, y Perú. Question
alex41 [277]

Answer:

1. Bolivia, Chile

2. Último

3. Imperio

4. Princesa

Explanation:

1. The Inca Empire spans over the current territories of Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentine, Chile and Peru.

The Incas were an indigenous South American tribe best known for having founded the Inca Empire. Its capital was at Cusco and the Inca Empire was at the peak of its power during the reign of Túpac Inka who was responsible for the Empire's expansion. By the XVI century, the Empire counted over 12 million subjects

2. Atahualpa was the last Inca emperor.

In 1531, Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro explored the Peruvian territory in the name of Spain. He met with Atahualpa's unarmed suite and captured the Emperor. He was offered an incredible amount of gold so that he would let Atahualpa walk. He accepted the Incan gold but nonetheless executed their emperor.

3. Before dying, Huayna Capac divided his empire, giving the northern part of the territory to Atahualpa and the southern part to Huáscar.

After the death of their father Huayna Capac, the two brothers initiated the Inca Civil War. It was also called the War of Two Brothers, and the former emperor's two descendants disputed one another's legitimacy as heirs to the throne. The war broke out at just the right time for the European conquistadors to take advantage of it and the Incas were conquered.

4. Atahualpa's mother was a Quito princess.

Even though Atahualpa's origin remains disputed, it is believed that he was born in Quito. This might be possible as his father named him the governor of this exact territory. This information was provided by chroniclers and conquistadors who claimed that Atahualpa's mother was a princess of the Kingdom of Quito, although it still remains unknown whether the kingdom really existed or not.
