5.<br> Why do you think Jonas is prohibited from dream-telling? Explain.
Rama09 [41]

Jonas was asked to follow certain rules while he is a Receiver-in training.

<u>EXPLANATION: </u>

Jonas did not get any dreams usually. But, one dream he got at the previous night was quite embarrassing as he was asking Fiona to disrobe and get into the bathtub with him. She refused to do so in his dream.

Jonas was the Receiver of Memory for his community and he was very embarrassed because of this dream as the community is a highly structured in which they are not allowed to choose their partners and need to dress up properly.

Though Jonas's parents understood his desires but asked him to suppress them by taking a pill each day. Thus, he was asked not to share his dream.

Put parenthesis around the prepositional phrases and underline the object of preposition , one sentence doesn't .
Aloiza [94]
( ) = prepositional phrase
{ } = object of preposition

1. ( in {Oregon}, ) it can be quite rainy ( along the {coast}. )

2. Everyone (from the {city} and {suburbs}) should vacation (in the {countryside}) (during the summer {months}.)

3. I have never seen a wild bear outside.
This sentence does not contain any prepositional phrases, regardless of the word, "outside," because nothing comes after it. For example, if said, "outside of Kentucky," then it'd be a prepositional phrase, Kentucky being the object of preposition.

4. Johnson ran (over the {hill}) (near the grocery {store}) (on his {way}) (to {school.})
