She is willing to face the risks because she has a wish, or some people would say it is a dream. And because she had an idea, and some nudging to help her fulfill that dream. She was successful because she trusted in herself, and because she had some help from the Hermit (And ofc the sweet Tiger by showing her how to help her husband).
