can carry up to 75 lbs. (even though he tells people he can carry much more). His 8 cousins can each carry 75 lbs as well. How many trips will he and his cousins need to make to carry all his money home?

Answer:

Number of trip = 39 trips (Approx)

Given:

Number of coins = 4,023,743 pennies

Weight of each coin = 3 grams

Each on carry weight = 75 lbs

Total number of people = 8 + 1 = 9

Find:

Number of trip

Computation:

Total weight of coin = 4,023,743 × 3

Total weight of coin = 12,071,229 gram

1 lbs = 453.529 gram

Total weight of coin = 12,071,229 / 453.529

Total weight of coin = 26,616.223 lbs

Total weight carry in each trip = Total number of people × Each on carry weight

Total weight carry in each trip = 9 × 75 lbs

Total weight carry in each trip = 675 lbs

Number of trip = 26,616.223 lbs / 675

Number of trip = 39.43

Number of trip = 39 trips (Approx)
