Answer:

Duncan's sons Malcolm and Donalbain became the main suspects of the King's murder.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's tragic play "Macbeth" tells the story of how an over ambitious Macbeth, along with the persuasion of his wife, brought about his own downfall.

After the prophecy of the three witches came true and he had been made Thane of Glamis and Cawdor, Macbeth began to become more ambitious about his own life. He decided to take over the kingship by himself, killing Duncan and putting the blame on the chamberlains. With the death of their father, the two princes Malcolm and Donalbain fled to England, thereby adding the suspicion on them. Thus, they became the main suspects for the king's murder.

Marat540 [252]
I think it’s not. This is because I'm doing online education now, and I don't think I'm getting any benefits from the industry or the government. Rather, I think online classes aren’t good. I think it’s more effective for students to go to school and study in there.

Lightning Thief Chapter 7: My Dinner Goes Up in Smoke
aksik [14]

Answer:

Luke helped Percy settle in the camp as a new arrival. He stole "a sleeping bag" and "some toiletries" for him to use to get settled, and walked him through the camp, be it dinner-time, the burning of food to the gods before one eats them.

Explanation:

Rick Riordan's "The Lightning Thief" revolves around the story of demi-god Percy Jackson and his 'journey' to know his father and live life as a half-human, half-god. The Greek mythological story is a part of the series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians".

In chapter 7 of "The Lightning Thief", Percy has just arrived at Camp Half-Blood, a secure camp for demi-gods like Percy. This camp helps the young children of the gods and also keep them safe and teach them how to live life as a 'demi-god'. Luke is the son of Hermes, and in this chapter, he helped Percy get settled in the new camp. He 'stole' a <em>"sleeping bag [. . .] and some toiletries" </em>for Percy and helped him get through the dinner ritual of <em>"burn[ing] offerings to the gods"</em> before they can eat their food. He also answered some questions about whatever Percy asked him, as much as he can.

Nataliya [291]

In this question the options are missing; here are the options:

Which best states the author’s purpose for including this quote in the text?

A. to give the reader important facts about the number of workers striking

B. to persuade the reader that the workers were foolish and irresponsible

C. to help the reader understand the courage and determination of the workers

D. to show the reader how Pauline Newman helped the striking workers

The answer to this question is C. to help the reader understand the courage and determination of the workers.

Explanation:

In the text "We Shall Not Be Moved", the author explains an important woman's strike that occurred in 1909 and led to the formation of one female trade union organization. In this Newman emphasizes how important the strike was and how the women in it were brave and determined.

This is explained in the quote through details such as "The spirit, I think the spirit of a conqueror, led them on" that explain women felt confident and wanted to fight for a cause or in "didn't really think of the hunger, cold, loneliness" that show women would continue in the strike despite difficulties. According to this, the purpose of including this quote and details is to emphasize the courage and determination of these female workers.
