There are many natural phenomenons in the world and one of the worst was Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina claimed 1,833 lives many of which the people were to reluctant to leave their homes until it was to late. Hundreds upon thousand of dollars were lost due to Hurricane Katrina. Hurricane Katrina displaced the public as far as Houston and Atlanta. Flooding caused a lot of damage to houses and other structures people need to understand why  Hurricane Katrina was so deadly. The engineers sought to understand why the drainage systems failed. People are still stumbling around picking up the pieces of Hurricane Katrina's damage.
