Answer:

He introduces a major conflict.

Explanation:

William Shakespeare's tragedy play "Hamlet" revolves around the revenge act of Hamlet for the wrongful death of his father, King Hamlet. The young prince sets about exacting revenge on his Uncle/ stepfather and current king Claudius.

Act I scene ii of the play is when Queen Gertrude asks her new husband King Clausius to try to persuade her son Prince Hamlet to stay in Denmark. But more importantly than that, the ghost's appearance to the guards had led to the discovery of it being the dead king's ghost. In this second scene, Horatio finally decides to inform Hamlet about his late father's ghost and even decides to accompany them on guard the next time. This scene introduces the major conflict which will be the theme of the whole play.

How can you determine the meaning of a word? The only way to determine the meaning of a word you do not know is to look it up in
BabaBlast [244]

The answer to this question is "There are various ways to determine the meaning of a word, including dictionaries, thesaurus, and context clues." The reason why is because when we are reading a story the definition of the word is not always included, however the author might leave a portion of text which might indicate what the meaning might be. Then there is the case where there is no context clues that the author left us and so instead we look up the word in the dictionary. The last one is where at the end of the book the thesaurus is found there they have definitions of the words that are found in the book. Hope this helps!
