I actually don’t at the moment! My neighbors across the street hate us because my father parked in a spot they used on the street so the neighbor purchased huge lights that shine directly into our windows. It is extremely difficult to sleep with headlights blaring in LOL.

The correct answer is C.) Caesar ignores multiple warnings about his own death.

Explanation: Julius Caesar's arrogance is his greatess flaw, and it is what causes him to ignore the warnings of his death (his wife's dream, the Soothsayer's warning, and refusing to read the letter about the conspirators). Caesar was blinded by arrogance because he was too focused on his rise to power. If he were less prideful and more humble (like Brutus) it could have been prevented.

Read the sentence. first thing in the morning, heather takes her dog for a walk. what verb tense is used in this sentence? prese
Kruka [31]
Because this is a subject of verb tenses, we focus on the verbs used in the given sentence. That would be 'takes'. To know which verb tense this is, let us examine each of the choices.

Present: Present tense verbs are expressed in their basic forms such as help, take, give, type, etc.

Present emphatic: This verb tense is used to give emphasis. It's hint word is the word 'does'. For example: She does take her dog to walk first thing in the morning.

Present progressive: This is written as 'is' + 'verb-ing' or 'are' + 'verb-ing'. For example: She is taking her dog for a walk.

Present perfect: This is written as 'has' or 'have' + past participle of the verb. For example: She has taken the dog for a walk.

So, from the descriptions, the sentence must be in simple present tense.

How does H.T Johnson use sarcasm in his poem " The Black Mans Burden"?
boyakko [2]
Johnson uses sarcasm in this poem as he expresses the opposite of what he means. When he says "pile on the Black Man's Burden", and gives examples of how people can make black men more miserable than they already are ("his wail with laughter drown"), he is using sarcasm. He clearly does not want people to pile on this burden and make black men's lives harder, but he is saying that people should do it to show them how ridiculous it sounds and to point out that people are already doing that.
