The artificial selection allows humans to exploit the genetic resources (alleles, genes) of the organisms during mating. This allows the transmission of valuable and desirable traits of both parents to the offspring. This improves the quality of milk, meat, and plant yield. Natural selection is a natural phenomenon human have no role in natural selection. In this the nature selects those individuals to survive in their environment which have better phenotypic traits over others. These traits allows the organism to survive and reproduce and the beneficial traits are passed on to the next generation. On contrary, the traits which are beneficial in one kind of environment can be harmful in other environment. For example, the bears have thick coat which allows them to survive in cold conditions but in extreme heat they may not survive.
