1. The picture is so high that Tom can't reach it ( too )
Dvinal [7]

Answer:

- The picture is too high for Tom to reach.

- They are used to driving on the right.

- The more we cut trees the more disasters we will suffer.

- Sue has had her car repaired by a mechanic.

- They wish to travel in comfortable buses.

Explanation:

The sentences are rewritten employing the given words. The first sentence is a complex sentence which uses 'so...that' which can be converted into a simple sentence by replacing 'so...that followed by negative' with 'too...to' as mentioned above. Similarly, the complex idea 'that its difficult for them to drive on left' in the second sentence can be simply written that 'they...used to...left' to make it more precise. The two simple sentences in the third part can be transformed into one by using 'the more.' In the fourth sentence, the emphasis can be shifted to Sue and her car by turning it into passive form. While in the last sentence, the two distinct sentences can be united to convey the implied meaning that they yearn for travelling through comfortable buses.

employing kinesthetic Imagery, describe one of you daily routines.Limit your answer to three to five sentences only
qwelly [4]

Answer:

My daily routine begins in the morning, just after waking up, when I walk from my room to the kitchen for breakfast consisting of a bowl of cereal and a glass of cold milk. Then I start cleaning all the objects that I held during breakfast and then I do a session of physical exercises, where I move rhythmically for about half an hour. After that moment, I return to my room and turn on my computer, where I will attend the classes available for that day. Next, I'm going to walk my dog for a while, so he can exercise and have some fun. When I get home, I take a hot shower and help my mom finish dinner. At night, I tend not to move around a lot and stay in my room reading, watching or talking with friends. I usually sleep early to get enough energy for the next day.

Explanation:

The above text was written to present kinesthetic Imagery that are mental images, promoted through a descriptive textual language, that promote the sensation of physical movement in the reader, through the reading of movements in a text, which can be highly detailed and with a sensorial source, or more basic and direct.

Under the Antiquities Act of 1906, the Organic Act of 1916, and other federal laws, the US government has the power to take cust
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

I believe the best answers are:

blank 1 -- C) that has

blank 2 -- A) NO CHANGE

Explanation:

The original sentence, "...the US government has the power to take custody of land when having historical significance or great natural beauty" is a bit ambiguous. Who has historical significance? We assume it is the land. But, in the way it is phrased, it could also be the government. To eliminate such ambiguity, the best option is letter C) that has. It will help determine a certain land can be taken. What land? The one that has historical significance.

As for the sentence, "The designation of a territory as a national park, national monument, or other types of protected area can limit activities," I don't see any reasons for changes. Especially because of the word "other", which needs to be completed by a plural noun - eliminating options B and C. Letter D wouldn't be incorrect, but the transformation of "protected area" into an adjective for "types" is unnecessary. The sentence is perfect the way it is and, therefore, needs NO CHANGE.
