Roger Fry, in full Roger Eliot Fry, (born December 14, 1866, London, England—died September 9, 1934, London), English art critic and artist, best known as the champion of the movement he termed Post-Impressionism. Fry was born into a Quaker family and was educated at the University of Cambridge for a career in science.
The first photograph was taken by Joseph Nicephore Niepce between 1826 and 1827. The image depicts the view from an upstairs window at Niepce's estate, Le Gras.
Bartok was inspired by Stravinsky’s work to put a more traditional and often Baroque forms in pieces of his “middle period” such as Cantata Profana and Music for Strings, Percussion, and Celesta. <span>Stravinsky’s influence waned after the rise of postwar serialism.
