Latin America is generally used to describe the countries that predominantly speak the Latin language. The Latin language is a Romance language spoken in Europe- Spanish, Portuguese, French. Latin America consists of South America, Central America along with the Caribbean islands and Mexico. Latin American culture is a mixed category that spreads across a wide range along with the race. The countries that come under Latin America are all divided by the borders, starting with US-Mexico border in the U.S.A, spreading through Central America and parts of the Caribbean and down into the south of South America.
We define both ourselves and others by comparison; we compare ourselves to others and others to ourselves. We also define ourselves in terms of our individual experiences and beliefs, but we define others in comparison to majority and minority groups.
