A watershed can be defined as the part of the land where all the water from surfaces drain into the same place. The water can come from river, creek, ocean, or any other source of water. All water collectively drain from different sources in to the same place. This is called watershed. The builder wants to level all the trees in the watershed area. This is likely to affect the watershed area negatively. As trees may absorb and regulate the drain of water from different sources by occupying the area when trees are being level then the chances of flood from rivers and streams can affect the watershed area and the area cannot be considered appropriate for building construction.
